North Sails Apparel with its authentic sailing DNA and its commitment to ocean protection and ME Motorino Elettrico, a design object on two wheels, born and made in Italy, have teamed up to present ME x North Sails, a limited edition of unique scooters.
ME x North Sails scooter features seat covers made from repurposed sails that were no longer fit for ocean cruising. It is the result of a shared vision that combines aesthetics and ethics. ME x North Sails is the ideal scooter for a new generation of users. They are unique citizens, urban explorers, curious and free, feeling a sense of responsability towards the environment, and seeking a means of transport that fully respect it.
The design OF ME X NORTH SALES is inspired by the NorthTech collection and is available in four shades of colours mixing gloss and mat finish:

Our story began in 2013 with the idea of a motorbike born electric. No adaptation or transformation of existing motorbike design: the goal was to create a new world and design brand new electric scooter to excite a new generation of users, being mindful of the environmental footprint as well as phenomenal style and quality of manufacture.
Thus was born the ME, with its essential shape, soft and flat surfaces, an iconic design, as the canvas for unlimited personalization. Indeed, ME offers the users great possibilities of customization, where color could be applied to many details and finishes with an infinite number of combinations.

NORTH SAILS: A STORY OF PASSION

In 1957, the American engineer, sailor and Olympic gold medallist Lowell North decided to realise his dream: to manufacture the fastest racing sails in the world.
Year after year, race after race, Lowell North and his team worked tirelessly to design and create the technology and high-performance textures stronger than water and wind that would outperform the industry.
In 1989, the same grit and innovative spirit was embodied in the first apparel collection, a new wave of clothing and accessories for men, women and kids who shared his passion for the sea, suitable for navigating choppy waters or busy city streets.
